Zhoghovurd: Karabakh war veterans to meet labor minister today
The Karabakh war veterans who have been staging protests in Liberty Square of Yerevan, demanding better social conditions, will meet with Armenian Minister of Labor and Social Affairs Artyom Asatrian today, and tomorrow a meeting of veterans with members of the commission set up by the Armenian defense minister will take place, ‘Zhoghovurd’ daily was informed by Karabakh war veteran, retired Colonel Volodya Avetisian.
“It should be noted that about 6 weeks ago Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan asked Karabakh war veterans to give him time for examination of their problems and then the prime minister was to meet with a group of veterans and propose concrete solutions. The deadline set by the prime minister ends today, but for some reason Labor Minister Artyom Asatrian will meet with veterans of the Karabakh war,” the paper says.
