Evacuations ordered after flash floods spread across Colorado
Flooding across the state has prompted evacuations after buildings collapsed in Boulder County. Longmont is ordering a mandatory evacuation of the Southmoor Park neighborhood. Other counties are on pre-evacuation notice as flood waters continue to rise.

If Aurora residents need to take shelter, residents may go to the Salvation Army Evacuation Site, 802 Quari Ct., near Del Mar and Peoria.
New evacuations have been ordered from the mouth of Boulder Canyon along Broadway and then Pearl to Marine.
A notice was sent to all residents of Eldorado Springs shortly after midnight to evacuate immediately due to higher water levels and increased chance of mudslides along South Boulder Creek. Residents have been asked to evacuate to a barn located at 2875 Boulder County Road 67, just south and east of the town of Eldorado Springs.
Boulder County officials say multiple homes in the Jamestown and Nederland area have collapsed, prompting evacuations in the area.
An evacuation notice has been issued for Jamestown in Boulder County. An evacuation shelter was opened at Jamestown Elementary School, which is located at 111 Mesa St.
A Nederland shelter was opened at the Nederland Community Center at 750 Colorado 72 N.
A rockslide in the area prohibited crews from getting to the deceased or any other homes in the area.
Evacuation orders were issued for Four Mile Canyon. The Boulder Office Emergency Management said residents in that area should move to higher ground immediately.
