Elections of Chamber of Advocates’ chairman underway in Yerevan
Members of the Chamber of Advocates of Armenia are electing today their chairman. There are four candidates: deputy chairman of the Chamber of Advocates Ara Zohrabian and 3 members of the Chamber – Ashot Tadevosian, Tigran Atanesian, and Kromvel Grigorian. Voting began at 9:00 am and will end at 5:00 pm. 486 out of the 1,370 voters voted as of 1:00 pm.
Aysor.am was informed by the Chamber of Advocates that the incumbent chairman of the Chamber, Ruben Sahakian, and three candidates – Ara Zohrabian, Tigran Atanesian, and Kromvel Grigorian have already cast their votes.
1,412 ballot papers were printed and stamped by the Counting Commission. Investigative Reporters and Helsinki Committee of Armenia NGOs as well as the office of CEELI Inc. have been accredited to carry out an observation mission during the elections of chairman of the Chamber of Advocates of Armenia.
