Zhoghovurd: Tsarukian cuts number of charity buses
‘Zhoghovurd’ newspaper has been informed that the leader of Prosperous Armenia Party (BHK) Gagik Tsarukian has cut the number of charity buses on Yerevan-Abovian and Yerevan-Charentsavan routes. According to residents of the city of Charentsavan, 16 such buses were available previously, but their number has now been reduced to 6-7.
Tsarukian’s spokeswoman, Ivetta Tonoyan, told the paper that the buses were operated based on necessity and their operation was not an end in itself.
“We should mention that about two years ago a struggle for bus lines began between Gagik Tsarukian and his godfather Arthur Harutyunian (nicknamed Hangman). In fact, the godson has defeated his godfather,” the daily notes.
