Grandson hits grandpa, 79, with sugar bowl in Geghanist village

A 16-year-old grandson hit his grandfather, 79, with a sugar bowl, inflicting an injury. The incident happened yesterday in Geghanist village of Ararat province, Aysor.am was informed by Karapet Yegoyan, an employee of the village administration.
In his words, 79-year-old man came to the administration with a head injury.

“He told us that all quinces were picked from their tree at night. Upon seeing this, the grandfather loudly cursed the thief, while the grandson took offence and hit him with a sugar bowl. They are at odds with each other. The grandpa came to us, we stopped the bleeding and called the police. They later made peace at the police station and went home, “ Yeghoyan said.

Aysor.am was informed by the press service of the Armenian police that the grandfather was referred to a forensic expert and an investigation is underway.
