Prime Minister: Agreement on gas tariff rise not signed yet
During Q&A hour in the parliament today, deputy of Armenian National Congress (HAK) faction Aram Manukian asked once again when the ArmRosGazprom Company and the Russian side signed the agreement on the rise in gas tariffs.
“I requested that the document be presented to me if, of course, there are not any state secrets in it,” Aram Manukian said, addressing Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan.
The prime minister said the agreement has not yet been signed and the negotiations are still underway.
“We have drafts of the agreement to be signed. At the moment when it is expected to be signed, this will be done publicly. Moreover, the agreement will be presented to the National Assembly since we together with you should discuss in detail all the provisions of that document,” the prime minister explained.
