Armenian president’s salary to increase to 900,000 AMD
Chairman of the National Assembly Standing Committee on Social Affairs Hakob Hakobian informed the correspondent of ‘Haykakan Zhamanak’ daily that salaries are expected to increase on July 1, 2014.
The proposal was included in the draft state budget which has already been submitted to the parliament. However, Prime Minister Tigran Sargyan said earlier that a wage increase in all the spheres was expected starting from January 1, 2014.
The paper says that on July 1 of next year, the salary of the Armenian president will be raised from 400,000 to 900,000 drams. Salaries of ministers and parliamentary deputies will amount to 600,000 drams.
