Deputies decide to ‘summon parents’ due to Postanjian’s conduct

Yesterday, before adoption of the decision about exclusion of Heritage faction’s deputy Zaruhi Postanjian from the Armenian delegation to the PACE, the secretary of Armenian National Congress (HAK) parliamentary faction Aram Manukian made an interesting proposal during the consultation held by the Armenian parliament speaker Hovik Abrahamian, ‘Zhoghovurd’ paper writes.

“For such behavior, parents of Zaruhi should be summoned,” Aram Manukian said. The deputies liked his joke.

According to the paper’s sources, the head of Heritage parliamentary faction Ruben Hakobian didn’t try to defend their party’s member, and he even declared that he will talk to Zaruhi Postanjian after her return to Armenia. ‘Zhogovurd’ learned that prior to that, the Republican Party of Armenia is going to hold an appropriate reception for Z. Postanjian.
