Putin, Erdogan to meet in Moscow in late autumn
Russian President Vladimir Putin and Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan will meet in Moscow in late autumn, Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Alexei Meshkov announced on Thursday, Voice of Russia reported.
"The High-Level Cooperation Council successfully held its third session chaired by the Russian president and the Turkish prime minister during President Vladimir Putin’s visit to Turkey in December 2012. Preparations are now under way for the council’s fourth session due in Moscow at the end of autumn. The two leaders will sum up the results of cooperation in the past year and outline future tasks," Meshkov said.
Working within the council’s framework are a foreign minister-led joint group for strategic planning which oversees cooperation on the international arena, a mixed Russian-Turkish intergovernmental commission on trade and economic cooperation and a public forum, the diplomat said.
