Police chief Gasparian introduces new deputies to staff

Armenian Police Chief Vladimir Gasparian today introduced the new Deputy Chiefs of the Police Anubagh Hambarian and Samvel Hovannisian to the unit heads of the central staff, according to the press service of the Armenian police. The deputy police chiefs were appointed by decrees of the Armenian president.

V. Gasparian congratulated Hambarian and Hovhannisian and wished them success in their work.

Then the police chief introduced the newly-appointed chief of Lori regional police Artak Karapetian.

Vladimir Gasparian praised the work of his two deputes, Sasha Afian and Hovhannes Hunanian, who went on well-earned retirement. Speaking about the program of setting up a group of main specialists in Armenia’s police system, Gasparian noted that thanks to that program, all qualified officers remain in the ranks and continue to share their broad experience for the formation of new police.
