Hraparak: Postanjian was going to put ‘scathing’ question to Naryshkin
The following day after she asked her question to the Armenian president the PACE session, Zaruhi Postanjian was going to put a ‘scathing’ anti-Putin question to the Chairman of Russian State Duma Sergei Naryshkin, but she didn’t do so, ‘Hraparak’ daily notes.
The newspaper attempted to find out the reason. She said: “I met Naryshkin, talked to him, and demanded an explanation. I didn’t ask the question in public as I deemed it more expedient to talk privately.” Asked by the paper to voice the question she didn’t ask, Postanjian said that “it was a question concerning FSB”.
In response to the remark that there are rumors that the Russian side put pressure on her to prevent her from asking that question, Zaruhi Postanjian said: “Who can put pressure on me? The Russian side was under my pressure. I think they even complained to David Harutyunian that I had such a talk with them. And I decide myself whether to ask a question or not”.
