The Chief of the Ministry Staff Gagik Grigorian presented the main indices of the work done by the Staff.
The implementation of the North-South Road Corridor Investment Program was also presented.
Serzh Sargsyan put questions to the responsible persons and gave a number of instructions concerning the issues discussed. Speaking about allocations for road construction and other programs, he stressed the necessity of increasing efficiency of their use.
The president indicated the correct selection of the personnel as an important condition of efficient work.
“If we fail to involve competent young specialists, we will not achieve any results. We should do it every day. Each manager should involve people who are able to solve problems, are not afraid of problems, and are prepared to overcome any challenges,” Serzh Sargsyan said, adding that the solution of social problems such as a salary increase is not enough to keep promising cadres. ‘People need attention, warm words, and appreciation of their work. And we should use the experience of older generation, combining it with the energy of young experts,” the president said.
