Zhoghovurd: Pashinian attends HAK faction sitting after long break
The Armenian National Congress (HAK) parliamentary faction held a special sitting yesterday. Among the participants was also Nikol Pashinian who in fact had severed ties with colleagues. The reappointment of HAK representatives in international parliamentary delegations was discussed at the sitting. Following the instructions of parliamentary speaker Hovik Abrahamian, the factions will have to nominate their representatives again.
‘Zhoghovurd’ daily writes that HAK decided not to change its representatives in the delegations and also nominate Nikol Pashinian and Hrant Bagratian who have in fact severed their ties with the faction. The special sitting yesterday was convened to get their consent. Bagratian didn’t attend the sitting as he is out of town, while Pashinian gave his consent.
The recent months’ chill in relations of Pashinian and other deputies of HAK faction was not observed at the sitting, according to the paper. It is not ruled out that Pashinian will again attend HAK sittings.
