Ombudsman’s advisor visits persons detained on November 5
The Armenian Ombudsman’s advisor Ms. Yeranuhi Tumanian and employees of the rapid response group of the Ombudsman Office visited yesterday the persons arrested during the November 5 incident on Mashtots Avenue.
There were no obvious traces of violence on the detainees and they did not complain of health problems, the spokeswoman for the Ombudsman Office Naira Karmirshalian told Aysor.am.
On November 5 activist Shant Harutyunian and his supporters tried to organize a march in Yerevan. They exploded homemade explosive packages. Police detained 40 people. Several policemen were injured in the clashes.
