Minasian: Armenia’s decision on entry into CU due to Karabakh problem
“Armenia’s political decision on entry into the Customs Union was conditioned by the Karabakh problem. The Armenian leadership will get military-political dividends and continue the current military-technical cooperation with Russia,” political scientist Sergei Minasian told reporters today.
He said that Armenia purchases arms, which are sold to Azerbaijan for several billion dollars, at lower prices or receives them free from Russia.
“In the short and medium run, there will be no hostilities in Nagorno Karabakh,” Sergei Minasian stressed.
