Armenian president receives Vladimir Spivakov
Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan received today the world-famous conductor and violinist, Artistic Director and Principal Conductor of Russia’s National Philharmonic Vladimir Spivakov.
S. Sargsyan thanked the conductor for yesterday’s concert. In his words, the audience was enraptured by the concert. The president stressed that for Armenian residents, Vladimir Spivakov stopped being a guest long ago and became a person dear to Armenia who has supported the Armenian people at the most difficult moments and always conveyed optimism during his visits to our country, the presidential press service reported.
In the words of V. Spivakov, he is always happy to visit Armenia and is very grateful for the warm attitude shown towards him both in concert halls and by passers-by on streets. The renowned conductor expressed a willingness to hold music festivals in the coming years in a number of countries, including Armenia.
