Sargsyan and Medvedev discuss Armenia’s entry into CU
Armenian Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan and his Russian counterpart Dmitry Medvedev met in Saint Petersburg today, according to the press office of the Armenian government.
The interlocutors highly appreciated the high level of Armenian-Russian relations. They discussed a wide range of issues related to cooperation of the two allied states.
The prime ministers of Armenia and Russia stressed the importance of implementing joint programs in economic, cultural, humanitarian and other spheres and ensuring the continuity of work aimed at development of new projects.
The sides also discussed the process of Armenia’s entry into the Customs Union, in particular the work to be done in the near future.
T. Sargsyan and D. Medvedev agreed to continue their bilateral meetings to discuss programs and issues concerning Armenian-Russian relations.
The government delegation led by Tigran Sargsyan will return to Yerevan tonight.
