Zhoghovurd: Sargsyan government fails to ensure promised growth
The closer the end of 2013, the more obvious it becomes that the government of Tigran Sargsyan fails to ensure 5-7% economic growth it promised, ‘Zhoghovurd’ paper says.
“To judge from statistical data, the economic activity index remains the same. The index made 3.2% in nine months of 2013 and 3.4% in ten months. In other words, no economic growth has been recorded, quite the opposite, the economy is stagnant. It is also noteworthy that inflation continued in January-February. According to statistical data, it currently amounts to 5.7%, while the growth of the average nominal wage is 4.3%, “the paper writes.
