Oil pipeline fire leaves 22 dead in China
Leaked oil from a ruptured pipe has caught fire and exploded in an eastern Chinese port, killing at least 22 and injuring others, the Guardian reported, citing the official Xinhua news agency.
A district government in the port of Qingdao said the oil pipeline, owned by China's largest oil refiner, Sinopec, ruptured and, while being repaired, caught fire and exploded on Friday.
Authorities have ruled out the possibility of terrorism, but the incident remains under investigation.
