168 Hours: Narek Galstian to become SDHP head
‘168 Hours’ paper says that Narek Galstian is likely to be elected as head of the Social Democrat Hunchakian Party (SDHP) at the party’s congress today.
The paper reminds its readers that Narek Galstian is an assistant to Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan and in the event of his election as SDHP head he will have to resign from that position.
“Why should the prime minister’s assistant leave his job and become a party head, which is considered social work. The party members say that either N. Galstian thinks that the prime minister will resign soon, or the prime minister has presidential ambitions and he is setting up for himself some political grounds outside the Republican Party of Armenia, “ the paper writes.
