Armenian president meets with Francois Hollande in Vilnius
Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan met with French President Francois Hollande in Vilnius, the press service of the Armenian president said. The sides stressed the importance of actively developing decentralized cooperation and contacts between businessmen of the two countries.
S. Sargsyan said the French-Armenian trade and economic ties are successfully developing, with France being one of the leading EU countries by its investment in Armenia. The presidents at the same time noted that there is potential to further increase bilateral trade and expand cooperation, which requires task-oriented work.
The interlocutors touched upon Armenia-EU cooperation and exchanged views on regional problems.
