Naghdalian: Draft state budget proposes priority solutions to challenges

“The principal feature of the 2014 draft state budget is that it is a political document that proposes priority solutions – within a concrete period - to the challenges facing the state and people,” the vice speaker of the Armenian parliament Hermine Naghdalian said today.

In her words, the budget is unique in terms of revenue formation. “Perhaps it is the first time in Armenia’s history that we have planned quite a considerable growth in tax revenues, while not planning to increase the burden of tax administration in parallel with it,” she noted.

“I consider it important to address the priorities of the budget expenditures and to say that naturally among such priorities are Karabakh and defense sector, then the social sphere,” H. Naghdalian said.

In her words, the Republican Party of Armenia (HHK) assumed political responsibility and consistently implements its programs so the HHK parliamentary faction will vote for the 2014 draft state budget.
