Hraparak: Civilitas Foundation expands
Following the ‘money laundering case’, Civilities Foundation whose creation is linked with Vardan Oskanian’s name is not as active as it was before. ‘Hraparak’ paper says citing its sources that much energy was put into a large office that recently opened in Istanbul. Another office will open in Tbilisi later.
“Let us remind you that after his election as parliamentary deputy, Vartan Oskanian declared he would stop working for Civilitas Foundation, but remain a member of the Board of Trustees. By the way, Vartan Oskanian is now conducting negotiations in Brussels with the Alliance of European Conservatives and Reformists (AECR) concerning membership of Prosperous Armenia Party (BHK).
It should be noted that Erdogan’s party recently joined AECR after withdrawing from EPP in order to play a leading role in the small AECR and receive that European party’s support in the upcoming presidential elections, after which Turkey will shift to the presidential form of government,” the newspaper writes.
