Zhoghovurd: Sahakian has something to lose in case of power change
“It is no accident that the head of Republican Party of Armenia (HHK) parliamentary faction supports any initiative of the country’s top leadership and if necessary makes offensive statements against oppositionists. He has something to lose in case of change of power,” ‘Zhoghovurd’ paper writes.
“During these years he has ensured good jobs for his sons: Arman Sahakian is the head of State Property Management Department, while Tigran Sahakian is a deputy health minister. Both of them have managed to accumulate considerable wealth. In early 2013 Arman had 95 million AMD in his bank account, whereas at the end of the year he has 101.5 million. The money in Tigran’s account increased from 43.7 million to 84.4 million AMD. Galust Sahakian himself does not have a penny in his bank account. He indicated only his salary and pension in his income declaration,” the paper says.
