State of emergency dismissed in Russia's south city after car bomb kills 3
State of Emergency, declared on the territory of Russia's south city Pyatigorsk after the explosion of the car not far from the police office station, has been dismissed, reported on Saturday the press service of the city administration, according to the Voice of Russia.
"The circumstances that gave us the reason to declare the state of emergency have been eliminated," said the representative of press service.
At this moment, with the help of the territorial services of the city administration forces a comprehensive survey was conducted in order to establish the material damage caused to the residents, to the areas located not far away from the epicenter of the explosion, he stated.
According to the press service, once the operational investigative activities will end on site, the City Commission will start work to establish damages.
As reported, on Friday at 19:15 in Pyatigorsk, near one of the buildings on the Cherkasskiy pereulok the car Volga exploded. In a result of an explosion three people got killed at a furniture store parking lot.
According to preliminary data, all victims were passing by people. Blast shattered windows in nearby buildings.
