Michelle Obama ready to try Botox, plastic surgery and yoga as she turns 50
First Lady Michelle Obama said that she isn't ruling out future use of plastic surgery or Botox and tweaking her workout to include yoga as she’s getting ready to celebrate her 50th birthday at the White House on Friday, the Voice of Russia reports.
Michelle underlined in a birthday-themed interview with People magazine that women should be free to do whatever they need to do to feel good. She didn’t rule out using botox or plastic surgery in the years ahead. "Right now, I don’t imagine that I would go that route, but I’ve also learned to never say never."
She also spoke on other topics which concern women turning into their 50s and 60s including diet, workout schedule and menopause.
"I’m seeing myself shift from weight-bearing stuff - even though that continues to be important - and the heavy cardio and running, to things like yoga that will keep me flexible," she said.
The first lady named her mom, Marian Robinson, actress Cicely Tyson and fitness guru Jane Fonda as her role models.
And she said she wants to be "the grandma that my mom has been. I want to be there for my girls, and help them be mothers and women and achieve their dreams."
President Barack Obama is planning a big dance party for Michelle at the White house on Saturday night. Details are being kept secret, but rumors are swirling that Beyoncé might perform, since she and her husband Jay-Z will be in town for the Magna Carta World Tour.
