Head of Chamber of Advocates appoints regional coordinators
Chairman of the Chamber of Advocates of Armenia Ara Zohrabian on January 16 took a decision on appointing several advocates as regional coordinators and responsible persons in Armenian cities for two years, according to the press service of the Chamber of Advocates.
Pursuant to Article 13 part 15 of the Law on Advocacy, clause 17 part 27 of the regulations of the Chamber of Advocates and the decision of the Chamber Chairman on order of doing coordination work in provinces, Ara Zohrabian decided to appoint:
1. Mnatsakan Melikian as regional coordinator in Aragatsotn province
2. Artak Khachikian as regional coordinator in Tavush province
3. Emin Beglarian as regional coordinator in Vayots Dzor province
4. Vahram Martirosian as responsible person in the city of Talin, Aragatsotn province
5. Naira Petrosian as responsible person in the city of Armavir, Armavir province
6. David Sargsyan as responsible person in the city of Sevan, Gegharkunik province
7. Mkhitar Beghian as responsible person in the city of Hrazdan, Kotayk province
8. Zhora Varosian as responsible person in the city of Alaverdi, Lori province
9. Armenhui Janjughazian as responsible person in the city of Stepanavan, Lori province.
Coordinators and responsible persons in other cities and provinces of Armenia will also be elected.
The purpose of coordination work in Armenian provinces is to unify members of the Chamber of Advocates who work in regions and cities of the republic, identify problems during their legal practice and inform the Chamber about those problems, and to take other actions aimed at the fulfillment of the Chamber’s tasks.
