Festive event held in Karabakh on Court System Employee Day

President of the Nagorno Karabakh Republic Bako Sahakian visited today the NKR Supreme Court and attended a festive event to mark the Day of Court System Employee, according to the press service of the Office of NKR President.

The president congratulated representatives of the court system on their professional holiday, stressing that an efficient and impartial court system is a key democratic institution, without which it is hard to imagine a modern law-based state and civil society, the defense of justice and citizens’ legitimate interests, rights and liberties, and equality before the law.

The results of steps taken to deal with the problems in the system are obvious, Bako Sahakian said, adding that the problems that remain unsolved and require courageous and persistent work should be at the center of attention.

The NKR president presented valuable gifts to a group of representatives of the court system in recognition of their fidelity to duty.
