Alexander Schutz: Armenia moves in the right direction
Armenian Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan received today a delegation led by President of the Board of C-QUADRAT Ampega Asset Management Armenia Company Ernst-Ludwig Drayss – one of the Armenian pension fund managers, according to the press office of the Armenian government.
“We set great hope on you and are sure that we will work well together. The implementation of pension reforms is our well-considered decision. Our aim is to respond adequately to challenges of the 21st century,” the prime minister said.
The guests highly appreciated the activities and purposefulness of the government in implementation of pension reforms and expressed their readiness to assist with this work.
Noting that their company is one of the largest and leading ones in Europe, the founder of C-QUADRAT AG Alexander Schutz said they are impressed by the Armenian government’s correct decision aimed at solving problems in the pension sphere.
“Armenia is moving in the right direction, which will ensure long-term social and economic stability for people,” Schutz stated.
According to the prime minister, pension reforms will also contribute to the formation of civil society in Armenia. “We will have 270 thousand citizens responsible not only for their personal accounts, but also for the fund managers and the government,” Tigran Sargsyan said.
