Zhoghovurd: M. Grigorian contrives to give dead student a mark
'Zhoghovurd’ paper writes that second-year students of the master’s program at Yerevan State University’s (YSU) Department of Journalism are in a desperate situation: marketing lecturer Margarita Grigorian, who is also the Executive Director of the Public Television of Armenia, does not condescend to give lecturers. Besides, she did not turn up twice during the exams.
A group of students told ‘Zhoghovurd’ that Margarita Grigorian failed to turn up at the examination on December 17, 2013, but she graded the written tests of students as poor. It is noteworthy that she also gave a D mark to student Rima Ghazarian who died from an illness in November. The students failed yesterday to meet with YSU rector Aram Simonian who is out of town. They filed an application to him, presenting the details of M. Grigorian’s irresponsible conduct.
M. Grigorian did not answer the phone yesterday. She called back only in the evening, but after learning that the correspondent of ‘Zhoghovurd’ was going to ask her questions, she advised him to apply to a ‘press service’ and hung up.
