Food consumption sharply declined after New Year
Sales of food products in Yerevan stores have sharply declined after the New Year holidays, ‘Haykakan Zhamanak’ daily writes. Shop owners say that there is such a situation after the New Year holidays every year, but this year’s decline in the food consumption market is extremely big.
“Trade is usually slack after a holiday period, but this year the situation is the same in all shops of Yerevan. Many goods don’t sell for a long time. Prices of dairy products will rise soon,” a shop owner told the paper’s correspondent.
