Main decision on accumulative pension yet to be made, R. Hakobia says
The Constitutional Court of Armenia decided yesterday to suspend the process of compulsory accumulative pension reforms in Armenia. ‘Aravot’ paper quotes Heritage Part member Ruben Hakobian as saying that the decision was an unprecedented one in the history of the Constitutional Court.
“But I think that the main decision is yet to be made when the matter is fully discussed in March. Let’s hope that it will be a logical decision,” R. Hakobian said.
We would remind you that the four non-coalition factions of the parliament, a group of representatives of ‘I am against the compulsory pension scheme’ civil initiative and thousands of Armenian citizens are opposed to the introduction of the compulsory component of the accumulative pension system.
