Zhoghovurd: Tigran Sargsyan wants to become president’s successor
'Zhoghovurd’ paper writes that Armenian Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan has recently begun to work actively with the aim of becoming successor to President Serzh Sargsyan.
Moreover, the paper’s sources say that he began to swear allegiance – through various channels – to the Russian authorities so as to show that he is ‘their man’, that ‘he can be trusted’ and so on.
During a talk with the correspondent of ‘Zhoghovurd’, the prime minister’s spokesman Harutyun Berberian refuted rumors about Tigran Sargsyan’s desire to become the president’s successor.
“As regards the second part of your question, I should say that we have excellent relations with Russian partners”, he said.
