Zhoghovurd: Government approves Russian-language document
At the last session of the Armenian government, during which the roadmap for Armenia’s entry into the Customs Union was approved, Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan and Deputy Foreign Minister Shavarsh Kocharian promised to publish the text of the document in two days. 6 days have passed, but the text of the roadmap has not yet been published.
‘Zhoghovurd’ paper was informed by the press service of Armenian Economy Ministry that the document is still being translated from Russian into Armenian and will be released soon.
“In other words, at its session the Armenian government approved a document written in Russian, rather than in the state language. The ministry said the document was written in the working language of the Customs Union in order to save time,” the newspaper says.
