Non-coalition forces have no candidate for prime minister
The Armenian parliament’s four non-coalition forces, which will make a decision today about initiating a process of a vote of no confidence in the prime minister, don’t have their own candidate for prime minister. In any case, they declined to mention any concrete names during a talk with ‘Haykakan Zhamanak’ daily.
When asked about his attitude towards this process, Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan conveyed the following through his spokesman Harutyun Berberian: “It is not the first time that the opposition is trying to use this instrument. They have a right to do it”.
“To all appearance, he considers the unification of four forces round this issue as unlikely. But never say never. As of yesterday the premier seemed to be at an advantage”, the paper says.
