Mass media representatives of Armenia and Iran to meet in Tehran
A memorandum of understanding will be signed between Armenia’s National Commission on Television and Radio (NCTR) and Iran’s Radio and Television organization.
A delegation headed by NCTR chairman Gagik Buniatian will participate in a joint meeting of mass media outlets of Armenia and Iran. The meeting will be held in Tehran on February 17-20 on the Iranian side’s initiative.
“The Armenian delegation will have meetings in Tehran with the heads of Iran’s Radio and Television organization, directors of television companies, and members of the Armenian community. The visit is aimed at promotion of ties between similar structures of the two countries and identification of new ways of cooperation. Issues related to cooperation of these structures will be discussed at the meetings. The sides will sign a memorandum of understanding on the opportunities of mutually beneficial cooperation,” NCTR said in a statement.
