L. Zurabian: HHK proposes creating interim commission on gas issue

The parliamentary speaker Hovik Abrahamian today presented a draft on the creation of an interim commission on the gas issues to the members of the four non-coalition factions of the National Assembly, the head of Armenian National Congress (HAK) faction Levon Zurabian told Aysor.am.

When asked if any explanation was given about the reason why the opposition’s proposal was rejected and then the same proposal was submitted by the Republican Party of Armenia (HHK), Levon Zurabian advised us to put that question to the parliamentary speaker. ‘No, there was no explanation. It is another question,” Zurabian noted.

Speaking about the creation of an interim parliamentary commission, the HAK deputy said they received a proposal to set up a commission that will examine the gas tariff issue, and no decision has been taken so far whether to accept the proposal or not ‘The answer will be given after this draft is discussed by the factions,” L. Zurabian said.
