Haykakan Zhamanak: SCR employees forced to choose pension funds
Management of South Caucasus Railway (SCR) CJSC puts pressure on employees, forcing them to ‘voluntarily’ choose pension funds and management companies, ‘Haykakan Zhamanak’ daily writes, citing its sources in SCR.
According to the paper, the heads of the company units pressurize employees, threatening to dismiss them.
Yet the head of the SCR press service Vahe Davtian told the paper that he has heard about it for the first time. “I am also an employee of this company and no one puts pressure on me. I can say the same about my colleagues,” Davtian noted.
Davtian said that some employees of SCR have already chosen their management companies of their own free will. He found it difficult to give the number of such employees, explaining that it is their private affair.
Nevertheless, according to the paper, the heads of South Caucasus Railway Company’s units told the personnel department to submit the respective lists so as to clarify who chose a pension fund and who did not.
