Aravot: Gas quality related complaints continue
“Citizens say it previously took 3 minutes to make a cup of coffee compared with 5 minutes now, and it now takes an hour and a half to cook food,” the chairman of Informed and Protected Consumer NGO Babken Pipoyan said.
In connection with the Armenian prime minister’s decision to set up a commission to examine the quality of supplied natural gas, ‘Aravot’ paper asked Pipoyan to say what kind of complaints are received from consumers. The prime minister took such a decision following complaints of citizens and greenhouse owners about the quality of gas.
According to Babken Pipoyan, complaints are also related to the red color of the gas flame which is normally blue. The NGO Chairman noted that experts of ArmRosgazprom Company did not rule out that this change in the gas color is due to equipment used by residents.
