168 Hours: HAK and Heritage not to participate in gas commission
Only two of the non-coalition factions of the Armenian parliament – Prosperous Armenia (BHK) and ARF-Dashnaktsutyun factions will participate in work of the ruling majority-initiated interim commission to examine gas issues. Heritage faction decided not to participate in the commission’s work. Armenian National Congress (HAK) faction also refused to take part in the current negotiations over the creation of such a commission.
The head of HAK faction Levon Zurabian told ‘168 Hours’ paper that they will announce their final decision about involvement in the commission at the four-day session.
The head of Heritage faction said that they submitted proposals to the ruling majority but the Republican Party of Armenia (HHK) rejected them so they have decided not to participate in the commission’s work.
