77-year-old man who crossed into Azerbaijan will return to Armenia
77-year-old Mamikon Khojoyan who crossed into Azerbaijan on January 28, 2014 will return to Armenia. Aysor.am learned that the Armenian and Azerbaijani Offices of the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) have managed to reach an agreement, thanks to which Mamikon Khojoyan will soon be able to return to his native village.
Mamikon Khojoyan is a resident of Verin Karmiragbyur village in Tavush province. He crossed into Azerbaijani territory after he lost his way. According to Verin Karmiraghbyur’s village administrator Kamo Chobanian, Khojoyan suffers from a mental disorder.
