0.3% fall recorded in non-food market
A 0.3% fall was recorded in Armenian market of non-food products in February on January 2014, according to data of the National Statistical Service. The fall is due to a fall in prices of cultural goods (5.4%), footwear (1.1%), building materials (0.9%), jewelry (0.9%), clothing and textiles (0.4%), and fuel (0.4%).
Prices of cosmetics and detergents fell by 0.2% and 0.1% respectively in the indicated period.
Gasoline and diesel fuel prices remained the same in Armenia in February on January 2014 and fell by 1.5% and 0.4% respectively as compared with February of last year.
According to studies, 0.1-0.9% fall in non-food prices was recorded in 7 Armenian cities and 0.1-0.9% price growth in 4 cities. Prices of non-foods have declined by 0.6% in Yerevan.
