Armenia to participate in drafting of Customs Union’s Customs Code
Armenian Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan received today member of the Eurasian Economic Commission’s Board, Minister Vladimir Goshin.
The sides discussed issues of customs cooperation and customs legislation as part of Armenia’s entry into the Customs Union, the press office of the government reported.
V. Goshin presented details of the drafting of a new Customs Code that will take effect next year. The process is coordinated by deputy ministers of the Customs Union member states. According to an agreement reached by the sides, Armenia will also participate in the Code’s drafting. The next meeting of the working group is due on March 17 in Moscow.
