Blast near college in Pakistan kills 10
A bomb exploded near a passing bus in the southwestern Pakistan city of Quetta on Friday afternoon, killing 10 people and injuring 35 others, CNN reported, citing police.
The bomb was planted on a bicycle in the city's Science College area, said Muhammad Jaffar, deputy inspector general of Quetta police. The blast hit a passenger bus, which caught fire, he said.
Most of the people on the bus were either killed or injured, police said. The force of the blast broke the glass of windows of nearby shops.
It wasn't immediately clear whether all of the victims had been on the bus, or who was responsible for the bombing.
