'I am against’ movement does not object to prime minister’s proposal
The representatives of ‘I am against’ - a civil initiative protesting against the introduction of the new compulsory accumulative pension system in Armenia – will accept the Armenian prime minister’s proposal to start a dialog if the word ‘compulsory’ is removed from the draft law.
The initiative said in a statement that ‘I am against’ movement has always been in favor of a dialog, it sent letters to the appropriate bodies, requesting a meeting with the prime minister. The movement also asked to organize a special sitting of the parliament, but this move was boycotted by the majority.
“Welcoming the prime minister’s proposal, we say that our struggle will continue until the compulsory part of the law is removed,” the statement says.
