Heritage members don’t know why they ‘take’ Liberty Square for 7 days

While Prosperous Armenia Party is trying to become the pivot of the opposition, Heritage Party leader Raffi Hovannisian notified Yerevan Municipality of their intention to hold rallies in Liberty Square on March 29 and 30 and from 11 am to 11 pm on April 6-10.

Heritage spokesman Hovsep Khurshudian told ‘Hraparak’ newspaper that the format of events to be held is not clear yet. The deputy chairman of the party Armen Martirosian said that public events are likely. When asked whether these events will be planned ones or influenced by the upcoming processes, he said: “Time will show. It is not ruled out that following the March 28 decision to be taken by the Constitutional Court concerning the new accumulative pension system, we will join the protest actions of ‘Dem.am’ movement or Raffi Hovannisian will give a press conference in Liberty Square”.
