Zhoghovurd: Heritage party may quit ‘the magnificent four’
‘Zhoghovurd’ paper says that details of the March 14 meeting of Prosperous Armenia Party (BHK) and Heritage Party have emerged. According to the paper, Raffi Hovannisian – in the manner typical of him – did not answer the concrete questions of BHK leader Gagik Tsarukian, but he only said that the problem will not be resolved by holding a vote of no confidence in the prime minister. “Rumors reached us that in the future Heritage may give up their joint struggle with BHK, Armenian National Congress, and ARFD,” the paper writes.
‘Hraparak’ paper says that Heritage Party has not yet taken a final decision on further cooperation within the framework of the ‘magnificent four’.
When asked whether Heritage will participate in the process if the Armenian president’s resignation is not included in the struggle agenda, the deputy chairman of Heritage Party Armen Martirosian replied: “A complete change of power and reforms are on the agenda of our party. As for cooperation issues, I cannot predict anything as discussions are still underway”.
