Medvedev: Roadmap measures implemented in full

“The measures envisaged by the roadmap for Armenia’s entry into the Customs Union have been implemented in full and measures related to some issues - at high rates,” is said in the message of Russian Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev to the participants of the second economic conference “Armenia-Customs Union: Opportunities and Challenges” in Yerevan today. The conference is held by the ruling Republican Party of Armenia. The message was read by deputy of the Russian State Duma Igor Chernyshenko.

“Under conditions of globalization, there has been a tendency towards regional integration processes, which is first of all due to the increased efficiency and immunity of national economies,” Dmitry Medvedev’s message says.

“Work in this new integration format pays dividends to the participants of the Customs Union. I am sure that our joint steps on the integration path will have a positive effect on the deepening of friendly Armenian-Russian relations and contribute to the development of bilateral cooperation in trade, economy and culture,’ the message notes.
