Prime Minister: CU platform is close to economic system of Armenia
The second economic conference “Armenia-Customs Union: Opportunities and Challenges” is being held in Yerevan today. The conference has been organized by the ruling Republican Party of Armenia.
The welcoming addresses of Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan and Russian Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev were read at the opening ceremony.
Armenian Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan made a speech of welcome. He told the conference participants that the economic space of the Customs Union (CU) showed that the platform being formed is quite close to our economic system and it is also close to the Eurasian economic system by the level of our economy’s development.
‘The platform creates relative advantages for the fulfillment of our economic potential. The indices of Kazakhstan, Belarus and Russia are graphic evidence of that,” Tigran Sargsyan said.
