Tigran Sargsyan: Law on pensions will be in effect
The Law on Accumulative Pensions will be in effect in its current form until September 30, Armenian Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan said at the government session today.
“The Constitutional Court has declared some provisions of the law unconstitutional and the law, which came into force on January 1, will be in effect until the respective amendments to the law are made. Both citizens and business entities shall be guided by the law,” the prime minister said.
In his words, a working group with the participation of all interested departments will be set up. A legislative package taking into account all the norms indicated by the Constitutional Court will be submitted to the parliament.
Tigran Sargsyan also called upon all civil activists to cooperate on the development of a new package. “We expect a dialog,” he said.
